Ring in the New! New Year Resolutions: For Keeps this time
It is THAT time of the year! 3 more days to the New Years Eve Bash and OMG! I have to scour the closet for the Peeerrfect Party dress. The one that will make all heads turn and the women will turn green with envy.
I will be cynosure of all eyes with men coloring me passion pink in their minds and their women will we waiting for an opportunity to spill their drink on my dress! (snicker, snicker!)
D R E S S!!!!
That reminds me, will it fit me this year? 2 children through the pipeline(literally!), a few liberal pounds through the year, a pampering H, some lethargy and of course a failed past New Year Resolution to shed them are now aggravating my woes.
That sets me blogging. What are the resolutions we need to keep this Year! My Dears some of these are for you all. Not necessarily in any order, I have chalked a few to keep this world intact and in one piece.(peacefully, hopefully!)

Hugh Hefner with Crystal Harris
Get Married/Hitched/Engaged: If Hugh Hefner(Chief- Editor of Playboy magazine) at 84 has the faith in the institution of marriage and announces engagement with Crystal Harris- all of 24 years, with an unbelievable age gap of 60 years? (even after 02 failed marriages and several break-ups), why can’t we? After all there should be something to it that draws millions and zillions to say their I Dos! At a fairly decent age of 25-35 we can definitely display our solidarity to our partner this year of 2011. So what are you waiting for, if you have not said it then, Say it, if you have not proposed, then Propose and if you have not set a date, then Set one. Surprise yourself and just take the PLUNGE!

Stay Fit- New Year Resolution
Stay Fit and Slim: It is definitely not difficult if you set an achievable target. Who said you have to model and set the ramp on fire. Not all the models and super models look the way they do on a magazine. Photoshop does not work in real life! Shedding a few ugly pounds from the undesirable spots and a big self-esteem that you achieved it, will breeze you through the year well. Eat healthy! Breathe healthy! Drink Healthy and Live healthy. But one step at a time. Slow and steady will win the race.
Practice Fair Means and Methods: Promise to be fair and safe this year. Personal safety is foremost and rise above your own expectations and meet them time and again. If you are engaged in trade and business, practice fair methods and the good an positive energies of the COSMOS will send forth their positive reinforcements to help you when you need them most.

Break the Bad Habit (Getty)
Break the bad habit: Is there a nagging habit like a cigarette addiction, shopping addiction, talking for hours on the phone or alcohol or not able to keep promises; that you want to overcome. A New Year is an excellent time to try and turn a new leaf. The New Year promises new and good tidings, so talk to yourself daily into trying to be a better person. Break the habit, slowly, gradually but eventually. FACE THE NEW YOU! YOU WILL LOVE YOURSELF!
Control Temper and Change Temperament: Promise to change and change for the better. If you are short tempered, promise yourself that you will blow your fuse only 1 time out of 10 and not all the time. Promise yourself that you will smile more often and will shed road rage and agree on better anger management.

Adopt Faith in God and be helpful: If you believe in the Higher power of the Universe, then pray and hold your head in his subservience atleast once in a day. Faith and hope can move mountains and when the Higher Power conspires, no work can go undone. An ‘Undettered Faith in HIS Supremacy’ as a New Year resolution will keep you focused and grounded.

Focus on Career, Family and Friends: Reinvest in family. Shares, Stocks and other financial portfolios are good, but families and friends are best. Take out time and spend quality time with them. Make them happy. buy them gifts, hug them, wipe their tear, lend a caring shoulder, take them on holidays etc. Time and energy with family and friends also contributes to the the high endorphins or ‘happy hormones’. Your life will feel richer. make new friend this year and network more. Take out time from your precious schedule to do something thoughtful for your family and colleagues. You will feel a new surge of energy and rejuvenation.
